Փհենյանը հերքում 22-ամյա ամերիկացու՝ Օտտո Ուորմբիերի նկատմամբ կտտանքներ կիրառելն ու դաժան վերաբերմունքը։ Վերջինը մահացել է ԱՄՆ վերադառնալուց մեկ շաբաթ անց։ Համապատասխան հայտարարությունը հրապարակել է Հյուսիսային Կորեայի կենտրոնական հեռագրային գործակալությունը։
