ՀՀ ժողովրդական արտիստ Լեյլի Խաչատրյանի հոգեհանգիստը տեղի կունենա մայիսի 3-ին՝ ժամը 18:00-20:00-ն, Երևանի Նորքի 5-րդ զանգվածի Սուրբ Սարգիս եկեղեցում: Վերջին հրաժեշտը՝ մայիսի 4-ին՝ ժամը 12:00-14:00-ն, Կ. Ստանիսլավսկու անվան ռուսական պետական դրամատիկական թատրոնի շենքում: Ինչպես  տեղեկացրին ՀՀ մշակույթի նախարարության հասարակայնության հետ կապերի բաժնի ց, հուղարկավորությունը տեղի կունենա մայիսի 4-ին՝ ժամը 14:00-ին, Երևանի քաղաքային պանթեոնում:

Լեյլի Խաչատրյանը մահացել է երկարատև հիվանդությունից հետո, կյանքի 85-րդ տարում: Դերասանուհին հայ բեմին ժառանգեց ուշագրավ և հետաքրքիր կերպարներ, շարունակեց 20-րդ դարի երկրորդ կեսի հայ և ռուսական բեմի մեծերի լավագույն ավանդույթները:

Լեյլի Խաչատրյանը ծնվել է 1930թ. մայիսի 2-ին, հայտնի երաժիշտների ընտանիքում: Նրա հորեղբայրը մեր ժամանակների մեծագույն կոմպոզիտոր Արամ Խաչատրյանն էր, ով ապագա դերասանուհու մեջ սերմանեց սեր դեպի արվեստն ու երաժշտությունը: Դպրոցն ավարտելուց հետո Լեյլին մեկնեց Մոսկվա, որտեղ ընդունվեց Գնեսինների անվան երաժշտական ուսումնարան՝ վոկալի բաժին: Այն գերազանց ավարտելուց հետո եկավ Երևան և ուսանեց Երևանի Գեղարվեստա-թատերական ինստիտուտի դերասանական ֆակուլտետում: Նրա վարպետները՝ Վ. Աճեմյանը, Ա. Գուլակյանը, Վ. Վարդանյանը, միանգամից տեսան Լեյլիի բացառիկ տաղանդը:

Նրան հրավիրում էին աշխատանքի Գ. Սունդուկյանի անվան ազգային ակադեմիական թատրոն, սակայն դերասանուհին ընտրեց Կ. Ստանիսլավսկու անվան ռուսական դրամատիկական թատրոնը, քանի որ այն ավելի հոգեհարազատ էր իրեն: 1956թ. մինչև կյանքի ավարտը նա անմնացորդ նվիրվեց սիրելի թատրոնին՝ իր վառ անհատականությամբ զարդարելով բեմը:

Բազմաթիվ էին Լեյլի Խաչատրյանի խաղացած դերերը՝ շուրջ 150: Եվ դրանցից ոչ մեկը անցողիկ չէր: Նրա ստեղծած կերպարները չափազանց հետաքրքիր էին. թափանցում էր իր հերոսուհիների հոգու խորքը, կարողանում գտնել կերպարի ամենաթաքնված իմաստը և միայն իրեն հատուկ վարպետությամբ մատուցում այն: Նրա ստեղծած կերպարների շարքը կարելի է անվերջ թվարկել՝ Գոլդա, Խանումա, Սաբեթ, Տուրուսինա, Խլյոստովա, Ալեքսանդրա Դմիտրիևնա, Խախո և շատ ուրիշներ:

Լեյլի Խաչատրյանն իսկական մտավորական էր՝ բազմակողմանի զարգացած, միշտ զուսպ, սիրալիր, պատրաստ օգնության ձեռք մեկնելու իր գործընկերներին: Նրա հետ աշխատելը գերագույն հաճույք էր: Լեյլին ոչ միայն փայլուն դերասան էր, այլև հմուտ մանկավարժ: Նա երկար տարիներ դասավանդել է Կ. Ստանիսլավսկու անվան ռուսական դրամատիկական թատրոնին կից դերասանական ստուդիայում՝ փոխանցելով մատաղ սերնդին իր վիթխարի փորձը:

Լեյլի Խաչատրյանն ուներ բազմաթիվ թատերական մրցանակներ և պարգևներ՝ ՀԹԳՄ «Արտավազդ» մրցանակ, ՀՀ մշակույթի նախարարության ոսկե մեդալ, ՀԹԳՄ ոսկե մեդալ և այլն: 1976թ. արժանացել էր ՀՀ վաստակավոր արտիստի, իսկ 2004թ.՝ ՀՀ ժողովրդական արտիստի պատվավոր կոչման:
