Վերջերս քննարկման թեժ թեմա դարձած «խզմալյանական հերոսությունը» մի տեսակ շուտ մոռացվեց: Կրկին անդրադառնալով թուրքերի հանդեպ առանձնակի սեր ունեցող կենսաբանական օրգանիզմի պահվածքին՝ Orer.am-ն իր ընթերցողներին է ներկայացնում քաղաքագետ Սերգեյ Շաքարյանցի տեսակետը.

«Այն, ինչ արել է Խզմալյանը, ես համարում եմ դավաճանություն. նրան պետք է կանչել քրեական պատասխանատվության: Իմանալով, որ Ադրբեջանը մեզ համար թշնամի պետություն է, գնացել ու հարցազրույց է տվել: Եթե նա պատրաստ է ծառայել Ադրբեջանին, Թուրքիային, կամ որեւէ այլ երկրի՝ թող հանձնի հայկական անձնագիրն ու հեռանա Հայաստանից: Խզմալյանը թող դառնա Ադրբեջանի քաղաքացի եւ դրսում հպարտանալով ասի, որ ինքը Ադրբեջանի, Թուրքիայի շահերը պաշտպանող դավաճան հայ է: Միայն թուրքական ընտանիքում կարող էր նման երեւույթ ծնվել ու դաստիարակվել»:

Պիտակավորելով Խզմալյանին որպես դավաճան՝ քաղաքագետը նախ նշեց, որ հայ հասարակությունը, լինելով բավական ծանր եւ՛ սոցիալական, եւ՛ տնտեսական, եւ՛ քաղաքական վիճակներում, երբեւէ չի լացել թուրքի փեշերին: Նշենք, որ նա նաեւ վերհիշեց Խզմալյանի անցյալն ու ընկերներին, ովքեր, ըստ Շաքարյանցի, աչքի չեն ընկել բարեկիրթ պահվածքով.

«Նա հիմա դժգոհում է ներկայիս իշխանություններից: Ես էլ կարող եմ դժգոհել նրա պուզատի ՀՀՇ-ական ընկերներից ու 90-ականներին կատարած նրանց արարքներից: Փաստորեն, այդ տարիներին մարդիկ այնքան «խելացի» չեն եղել, որ դժվար պայմաններից ելնելով գնան ու խոսեն իրենց իշխանություններից: Մենք մեր բողոքի ձայնը բարձրացրել ենք մեր երկրի ներսում: Այստեղ է, որ հարց է առաջանում. իսկ այն ժամանակ երբ նրա ընկերներն իշխանության գլխին էին ու անում էին այն, ինչ ուզում էին, դա աչք չէ՞ր ծակում»: 

Ջրի երես հանելով եւ թարմացնելով որոշների հիշողությունները՝ քաղաքագետը ՀՀՇ-ականների սենսացիոն պատմություններից մի քանի օրինակներ բերեց. «Համբարձում Գալստյանի սպանությունը, Արծրուն Մարգարյանի եւ մյուսների սպանությունները ժամանակին Խզմալյանի աչքը չէի՞ն ծակում, թե՞ այդ ժամանակ խոսելը ձեռնտու չէր»:
