Երեկ գիշեր խաղաղ ցուցարարների շարքերում գտնվող հոգեւորականները՝ դեմքով դեպի ոստիկանները, աղոթք բարձրացրեցին առ Աստված. պատճառը ոստիկանների եւ ցուցարարների միջեւ ստեղծված անհանդուրժողականությունն էր: Նշենք, որ էլեկտրաէներգիայի սակագնի  բարձրացման դեմ պայքարող ցուցարարները երեկ որոշում կայացրին փակել նաեւ Մաշտոցի պողոտան, ինչն էլ փորձում էին կանխել ոստիկանները: Ինչեւէ, ՀՀ ոստիկանապետ Վլադիմիր Գասպարյանի միջամտությունից հետո հարցը փակվեց, իսկ ցուցարարները վերադարձան Բաղրամյան փողոց` միանալով պայքարի դուրս եկած մյուս քաղաքացիներին:

Նկատենք, որ Բաղրամյան պողոտայում հայտնվելու առաջին իսկ օրվանից հոգեւորականները կանգնեցին ժողովրդի կողքին՝ փորձելով հանդարտեցնել կրքերն ու գտնել հարցի լուծման ճշմարիտ ճանապարհը:

Մեր նախորդ հարցազրույցներում մենք ներկայացրել ենք հոգեւորականների տեսակետերը՝ ակցիայի ժամանակ իրենց ներակայության եւ պահանջատեր քաղաքացիների կողքին կանգնելու վերաբերյալ, իսկ այժմ Orer.am-ն իր ընթերցողներին է ներկայացնում քաղաքագետ, «Միջազգային եւ անվտանգության հարցերի հայկական ինստիտուտի» հիմնադիր-նախագահ Ստյոպա Սաֆարյանի տեսակետը՝ նշված հարցի շուրջ.

«Ես հիշում եմ 2008 թվականի Մարտի1-ը, երբ մարդկանց կողքին սակավաթիվ հոգեւորականներ կային, եւ այստեղ է, որ եկեղեցին շատ տուժեց իր իմիջի առումով:Հոգեւորականների ֆիզիկական ներկայությունն արդեն շատ բանի մասին է խոսում: Ամեն մեկի ներկայությունը` կլինի հոգեւորական, շոու բիզնեսի ներկայացուցիչ, դերասան, թե այլ մարդ, կարեւոր չէ, մի հարց լուծում է: Իհարկե, այստեղ գտնվող ամեն մարդու հայտնության գործում PR էլեմենտ կարող ենք տեսնել, դա անհերքելի ու անխուսափելի է, բայց ես շատ ուրախ եմ, որ այդ ամեն ինչի կողքին լավ նախադեպեր են ստեղծվում»:

Դրական գնահատելով հոգեւորականների ներկայությունը հանրահավաքին և վերլուծելով իրավիճակը՝ Ստյոպա Սաֆարյանը եկավ մեկ եզրահանգման. «Հոգեւորականների՝ ժողովրդի կողքին կանգնելը դրական եմ գնահատում: Մի բան պետք է հասկանալ, եթե հոգեւորականներն իմանային, որ իրենց ներկայության համար նրանք կպատժվեն, ապա չէին գա  այստեղ, ուստի այստեղից մեկ ենթադրություն է պետք անել. կաթողիկոսն ինքն է ասել, որ հոգեւորականները կանգնեն ժողովրդի կողքին»:
