Հայաստանում հաշամանդամություն ունեցող անձանց համար առաջնային խնդիրները միջավայրային արգելքները, անմատչելի տրանսպորտը և հասարակության  վերաբերմունքն են:  Ինչպես փոխանցում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, օգոստոսի 27-ին լրագրղների հետ հանդիպմանը նման կարծիք հայտնեց  «Հույսի Կամուրջ» հասարակական կազմակերպության հիմնադիր նախագահ Սուսաննա Թադևոսյանը:

«Ցավոք սրտի հանրության վերաբերմունքը  մինչ օրս  խնդիր է համարվում,  թեև հաջողված փորձերը  փոխում վերաբերմունքը: Դեռևս գերակա է այն վերաբերմունքը, որ հաշմանադամություն ունեցող մարդը կարիք ունի աջակցության, բարեհոգության, հումանիտար օգնության: Հաշմանդամություն ունեցողը լիիրավ անձ է և ունի  մարդու նույն հիմնարար իրավունքներն ու ազատությունները, ինչպես ուրիշները: Հարկավոր է ի վերջո վերացնել բոլոր միջավայրային խոչընդոտները, որպեսզի այդ մարդն իր իրավունքները բոլորին հավասար իրացնի»,- նշեց Թա դևոսյանը:

Նրա գնահատմամբ` միջավայրային արգելքների հարցը չի լուծվում  միայն թեքահարթակներ կառուցելով. պետք է համապատասխան պայմաններ ստեղծել նաև հաշմանադամության այլ տեսակներ ունեցողների համար:

Կրթության ոլորտում հաշմանդամների ներգրավման առումով Թադևոսյանը դրական տեղաշարժեր է տեսնում: Փորձեր են կատարվում կրթական գործընթացը  հաշմանդամություններ ունեցող երեխաների համար առավել մատչելի դարձնելու համար:

«Այն կանխակալ վախերը, որ  հաշմանդամություն ունեցող երեխաների մասնակցությունը սովորական միջավայրում կրթական գործընթացին  կարող է վնասել, մյուս երեխաների կրթությանը, վստահաբար եմ ասում,  ընդամենը դեռևս առկա կարծրատիպերի և սխալ պատկերացումների հետևանք է, քանի որ փորձը ցույց է տալիս, որ ներառական կրթությունը որևէ կերպ չի խոչընդոտել հաշմանդամություն չունեցող երեխաների կրթությանը ,  որևէ ձևով չի վնասել այդ երեխաների  բնականոն զարգացմանը, ես կասեի նույնիսկ հակառակը»,- նշեց բանախոսը:

Ըստ նրա` մթնոլորտը դպրոցներում  փոխվել է, երեխաները սովորել են միմյանց օգնել աջակցել ավելի հանդուրժող ու բարի են դարձել, և այդ իրավիճակում զարգանում են բոլորը:

Հայաստանում ապրում են հաշմանդամություն ունեցող  շուրջ 8 հազար երեխաներ, որոնցից միայն   1700-ն են   սովորում  մոտ100 ներառական դպրոցներում:
