Կարեն Անդրեասյանի հրաժարականից հետո այն, ինչ կատարվում է ՄԻՊ ինստիտուտի շուրջ, համառոտ կերպով կարելի է անվանել այդ ինստիտուտի հետևողական և նպատակաուղղված արժեզրկում: Ինչպես և սպասելի էր, ՄԻՊ հրաժարականից հետո սկսվեց պաշտոնի թեկնածուների որոնման և կանխագուշակման ավանդական որոնումն ու թնջուկը: Մի կողմից թվում է, թե սա նորմալ գործընթաց է և ամեն ինչ այդպես էլ պետք է լիներ, սակայն, երբ հետևում ենք, թե ինչ թեկնածուների անուններ են շրջանառության մեջ դրվում, ապա տեսնում ենք, որ անկախ նրանից, թե ով կլինի հաջորդ ՄԻՊ-ը, նրան չափազանց ծանր ժառանգություն է բաժին հասնելու:

ՄԻՊ պաշտոնի թեկնածուների շարքում սկսեց նշվել Գագիկ Ջահանգիրյանի անունը, որի անձն ու կենսագրությունն ուղղակի անհամատեղելի են որևէ տիպի իրավունքների պաշտպանության հետ: Պատկերացնո՞ւմ եք ՄԻՊ-ի պաշտոնում առաջարկվում է մի մարդ, որն իր ռազմական դատախազի կարիերայում ունի քրեական տարրերի պարունակող իրադարձությունների հետ կապվածություն կամ գոնե նման իրողության կասկած, խոսքը վերաբերում է հայտնի Մատաղիսի գործին: Ավելին, ներկայում ի պաշտոնե ՄԻՊ-ի աշխատանքում բավական տեղ է զբաղեցնելու աշխատանքը քաղաքացիական հասարակության ներկայացուցիչների հետ, և այս պայմաններում պատկերացնո՞ւմ եք արդյոք Գագիկ Ջահանգիրյանին նման աշխատանք տանելիս, երբ վերջինս ժամանակին աջ ու ձախ «մունաթ» էր գալիս՝ հայտարարելով, թե «հա´մ հաճույք եք ուզում ստանալ, հա´մ կույս եք ուզում մնալ»:

Հաջորդը շրջանառության մեջ դրվեց Զարուհի Փոստանջյանին ՄԻՊ նշանակելու մասին դեղին մամուլի լուրերը, որի զավեշտականությունը հաշվի առնելով, լուրջ չէ քննարկման առնել:

Սրան զուգահեռ տարբեր կուսակցություններ սկսեցին հայտարարել, թե իրենք էլ ունեն ՄԻՊ-ի թեկնածուներ: Հասկանալի է, որ բոլոր նմանօրինակ լուրերը շրջանառության մեջ են դրվում հայտնի օղակներից և, ըստ էության, ապահովում են մի միջավայր, որտեղ իսպառ կկորի հանրային հետաքրքրությունը ՄԻՊ պաշտոնի և ինստիտուտի նկատմամբ, ավելին, նշված աննուներից հետո, եթե ՄԻՊ նշանակվի հանրության լայն շրջանակներին անհայտ որևէ գործիչ, ապա այդ նշանակումը կանցնի սահուն և «հուշիկ քայլերով»:

Նման իրավիճակից, բնականաբար, տուժելու են քաղաքացին, քաղաքացիական հասարակությունն ու ՄԻՊ ինստիտուտը, սակայն վարչակարգը բազմիցս ցույց է տվել, որ դա իրեն առանձնապես չի հուզում:
