Մենք հին ազգ ենք ու հնություններ շատ ենք սիրում, նորից էլ միշտ վախենում ենք: Ու այդպես գնալով ավելի ենք հնանում՝ հոգեպես:

Հնությունն իր տեղն ունի, իր արժեքն ունի, բայց երբ հնության հանդեպ սերը ծայրահեղ է դառնում, ապա բորբոսնելու վտանգ է առաջանում: Մենք պիտի գոնե մի քիչ նորանանք, որ հանկարծ չբորբոսնենք: Ու նորացումը պիտի վերաբերի նաև պաշտոնյաներին՝ նոր ու երիտասարդ կադրերի տեսքով, թե չէ այնտեղ բոլորը հին, շատ հին են:

Օրինակ՝ մարտի 17-ին Հրազդան քաղաքում տեղի կունենան քաղաքապետի ընտրություններ: Երկու թեկնածու կա՝ Սասուն Միքայելյանը ՔՊ-ից և Արթուր Միսակյանը՝ «Հայկական վերածնունդից»: Երկուսն էլ լավ մարդիկ են, բայց ըստ իս՝ Արթուր Միսակյանը մի մեծ առավելություն ունի՝ նա նոր է, հին չէ: Միսակյանը երիտասարդ է, գործունյա, եռանդով լի, երբեք կոռուպցիոն սկանդալների ու նմանատիպ կեղտոտ գործարքների մեջ չի եղել:

Ընդհանուր առմամբ, կարևոր չէ, թե ով որ կուսակցության ներկայացուցիչ է, կարևորն այն է, որ կա երիտասարդ թեկնածու, իսկ մեզ երիտասարդներ են պետք, մեր հնացող ու մեռնող քաղաքներին երիտասարդ ղեկավարներ են պետք՝ նորովի մոտեցումներով, որ երիտասարդացնեն ու լցնեն դատարկվող քաղաքները, երիտասարդացնեն նաև ծերացող երկիրը: Այս ժողովուրդը հոգնել է արդեն ծերունական վիճակներից, անընդհատ ծերի կերպարի մեջ լինելուց, ժողովուրդը նույնպես երիտասարդանալու կարիք ունի:

Սասուն Միքայելյանի վաստակը՝ հատկապես որպես ազատամարտիկ, ինչ խոսք, անգնահատելի է, բայց Սասուն Միքայելյանն արդեն մեծ ճանապարհ է անցել քաղաքականության մեջ, եղել է ՀՀԿ-ական, եղել է ՀԱԿ-ից, հիմա էլ ՔՊ-ից է: Հարգարժան մարդ է, բայց նույնպես հին է, իսկ մեզ երիտասարդներ են պետք, երիտասարդին բնորոշ եռանդ ու ոգի է պետք, որովհետև մենք հին ենք, շատ ենք հին:
