Լյովենբուրգ ամրոցը («առյուծների ամրոց») կառուցվել է 17-րդ դարում, այդ իսկ պատճառով` երիտասարդ շինություն է համարվում: Սակայն ոմանք ենթադրում են, որ այն միջնադարյան կառույց է:



Լյովենբուրգը գտնվում է Բավարիայում` Կասսել փոքրիկ քաղաքի Վիլհելմշոլլ զբոսայգու 92-մետրանոց բլուրի վրա և համարվում է տեղի ամենադիտարժան վայրերից մեկը:

Ամրոցի կառուցման նախաձեռնությունը պատկանում է Վիլհելմ 9-րդին, ով ճարտարապետին հրամայել է կառուցել այնպիսի ամրոց, որ արժանի լինի անգլիական միջնադարյան պալատների հետ համեմատության:

Ճարտարապետը ստիպված էր մեկնել Անգլիա և ուսումնասիրել ամրոցների ավերակները: Այդպես էլ կազմվել է փառահեղ Լյովենբուրգի կառուցման նախագիծը:



Համալիրը ներառում է անգլիական ոճի գեղեցկագույն այգի` մթնոլորտային որոշակի տարբերություններով: Այգում կան պալատի կեղծ ավերակներ, հռոմեական կեղծ ջրանգույցներ և հունական տաճարների նմանակներ:
