Վանաձորի Տարոնի բաժնի ոստիկանապետ Էրիկ Շարմազանովը Օrer.am-ի հետ զրույցում հերքեց մամուլի այն հրապարակումները, ըստ որի` օգոստոսի 1-ին Վանաձոր-Դիլիջան ավտոճանապարհին՝ Մարգահովիտ գյուղի մոտակայքում տեղի  ունեցած խոշոր ավտովթարի մասնակից մեքենաներից մեկի ղեկին ինքն է եղել:

«Նշված դեպքի հետ ես որևէ առնչություն չունեմ: Հրապարակման մեջ հիշատակված մեքենան ինձ չի պատկանում և ինձ հետ որևէ կապ չունի: Ասեմ ավելին` ես ընդհանրապես սեփական ավտոմեքենա չունեմ, միայն ծառայողական: Տվյալ ցավալի միջադեպով հարուցված է քրեական գործ, որը կտա բոլոր հարցերի պատասխանները»,- նշեց Էրիկ Շարմազանովը` հավելելով, որ ինքը տվյալ վթարի հետ նույնքան առնչություն ունի, որքան Քենեդու սպանության հետ:
