Լիբանանում Հայաստանի արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Սամվել Մկրտչյանը փետրվարի 6-ին հանդիպել է Լիբանանի վարչապետ Սաադ Հարիրիի հետ:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ ԱԳՆ մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, վարչապետին շնորհավորելով նշանակման և նոր կառավարության ձևավորման կապակցությամբ՝ դեսպան Մկրտչյանն անդրադարձել է Հայաստանի և Լիբանանի միջև գոյություն ունեցող պատմական կապերին և երկու ժողովուրդների վաղեմի բարեկամությանը, քաղաքական բարձր մակարդակի հարաբերություններին: 

Դեսպանը կարևորել է այդ կապերի փոխլրացման և ամրապնդման նպատակով տնտեսական և առևտրային հարաբերությունների զարգացումը, զբոսաշրջության խթանումը: Ընգծվել է բարձրաստիճան փոխայցելություններին պարբերականություն հաղորդելու կարևորությունը:

Դեսպանը ներկայացրել է Հայաստանում առկա ներդրումային հնարավորությունները, ՀՀ կառավարության ձեռնարկած բարեփոխումները՝ ուղղված գործարարության համար առավել դյուրին պայմանների ստեղծմանը, ընթացակարգերի պարզեցմանն ու հստակեցմանը:

Անդրադարձ է կատարվել Հայաստանում արդյունավետ գործունեություն իրականացնող լիբանանյան ընկերությունների դրական փորձառությանը և դրա հանրայնացման անհրաժեշտությանը:

Նշվել է վերջին տարիներին զբոսաշրջության ծավալների ընդլայնումը, այդ ոլորտում երկու երկրների համագործակցության հեռանկարային լինելու հանգամանքը:

Վարչապետ Հարիրին ևս կարևորել է երկու երկրների միջև տնտեսական կապերի խթանման անհրաժեշտությունը՝ պատրաստակամություն հայտնելով իր կառավարության գործունեության շրջանակներում նախապատվություն տալ բարեկամ Հայաստանի հետ հարաբերությունների զարգացմանը, խոստանալով ջանքեր ներդնել այդ ուղղությամբ:

Կողմերը քննարկել են 2017թ. հայ-լիբանանյան միջկառավարական հանձնաժողովի հերթական նիստը գումարելու հնարավորությունները:
