Հոգեբաններն ուսումնասիրությունների արդյունքում բացահայտել են, որ կանայք ավելի շատ հակված են զննել այլ կանանց, քան տղամարդկանց: Մասնագետները ուսումնասիրության արդյունքում եկել են այն եզրահանգման, որ մինչ տղամարդիկ արվեստի գործերում կամ լուսանկարներում զննում են մարդկանց դեմքերը, կանայք հետաքրքրված են կրծքի ուսումնասիրությամբ:
