Մեկ անգամ չէ, որ վերջին փուլում շրջանառվում են լուրեր այն մասին, որ Սերժ Սարգսյանն ուզում է ազատվել Աղվան Հովսեփյանից՝ նրան թոշակի ուղարկելով: ՀՀ Քննչական ծառայության ղեկավարը, ինչպես գիտենք, վերջին շրջանում, Հայաստան էր հրավիրել ռուսաստանցի իր պաշտոնակցին: Ասել կուզե՝ աջակցություն էր փնտրում:

Մամուլը բազմիցս գրել է, որ Աղվան Հովսեփյանին հանգիստ չի տալիս պաշտոնից հրաժարվելու հանգամանքը: Հոկտեմբերի 27-ին իշխանությանը մեծ ծառայություն մատուցած դատախազը, օր ծերության կարող է կանգնել անպաշտոն մնալու փաստի առաջ: Եթե անկեղծ լինենք, ապա վաղուց ժամանակն էր:
