ՀՀ ԶՈՒ նախկին շտաբի պետ Յուրի Խաչատուրովի հետ հանրությունը քաջածանոթ է: Մեկ անգամ չէ, որ այս անձն հայտնվել է մամուլի ուշադրության կենտրոնում: Այդ հայտնությունները եղել են հիմնականում կոռուպցիոն սկանդալների հետ կապված: Իսկ սկանդալները վերաբերվել են հայության սրբության սրբոցին՝ բանակին:
