Երեկ, երբ անմիջապես դատարանի դահլիճից ազատ արձակվեց քաղբանտարկյալ Անդրիաս Ղուկասյանը, շատերի համար արդեն հասկանալի էր, որ գլխավոր պատճառը երկրում տեղի ունեցող քաղաքական իրադարձություններն են: Դրանում կասկած լինել չէր կարող: Մոտ երկու տարի ձգվող դատավարության ընթացքում ոչ մի էական առաջընթաց չէր եղել, իսկ երեկ դատարանը ընդունեց Ղուկասյանի խափանման միջոցը փոխելու մասին միջնորդությունը:

Էլմոն Եղնուկյանի խոսքով, ում հայրիկն այսօր նույնպես քաղբանտարկյալի կարգավիճակում է, շատ ուրախալի լուր էր, հաշվի առնելով երկրում ու քաղաքական դաշտում տեղի ունեցած փոփոխությունները, ժողովրդական զարթոնքը: Ասում է, որ հույս կա ոչ թե կոնկրետ իր հայրիկի գործի վերաբերյալ, այլ ընդհանուր երկրի վիճակի բարելավման հանդեպ: Կա նախկինում չեղած վստահությունն առ այն, որ ամեն ինչ լավ է լինելու:

«Երեկվա դեպքը շատ ուրախալի լուր էր, պատմական իրադարձություն, որովհետև նոր Հայաստանում առաջին քաղբանտարկյալի ազատ արձակումը շատ մեծ հնչեղություն ունեցող դեպք է: Բայց ես այդքան էլ օպտիմիստ չեմ այդ առումով: Դե, կարող է այս մի բանը արեցին, որպեսզի ձայններս կտրենք»,- նկատեց նա:

Ինչպես Էլմոնն է նշում, հայրիկի դեպքում, չնայած նա քաղբանտարկյալ է, ոմանք «Սասնա ծռերի» մասին ասում են, թե նրանք զենք են վերցրել, ինչի համար քաղբանտարկյալ չեն կարող համարվել: Չնայած դա իրականությանը չի համապատասխանում: Սա նա ասում է ԵԽԽՎ-ի չափանիշների համաձայն:

«Քանի որ հայրիկի գործը կցված է «Սասնա ծռերի» գործին, մի փոքր բարդ է հայրիկին առանձնացնել այդ գործից: Մենք միջնորդություն ներկայացրել էինք՝ հիմնավորելով, որ այդ մեծ գործի մեջ իրեն մի քանի էջն է վերաբերվում: Սակայն այդ միջնորդությունը մերժվեց:

Ուղղակի այստեղ շատ հարցեր կան՝ կառանձնանցե՞ն հայրիկի գործը «Սասնա ծռերի» գործից, նորմալ կքննե՞ն միջնորդությունները, թե՝ ոչ: Հույսը մի փոքր ավելացել է, բայց քանի որ նա «Սասնա ծռերի» գործի հետ կցված է որպես օժանդակող, մի փոքր բարդացնում է իրավիճակը: Վերջիվերջո ոստիկաններ են սպանվել: Պետք է պարզաբանվի ողջ իրողությունը, որը մի փոքր ավելի երկար գործընթաց է:

Հուսով ենք, որ կկարողանանք կրկին միջնորդություն ներկայացնել գործը առանձին քննելու վերաբերյալ կամ խափանման միջոցը փոխելու մասին: Հայրիկը փախչելու մտադրություն չունի, ինչը նա բազմիցս նշել է իր հոդվածներում»,- ասաց նա:

Մեր այն դիտարկմանը, թե երեկվա դեպքից հետո, կարող ենք ասել, որ Հայաստանում այլևս վերականգնվում է արդարադատությունը, Էլմոնը պատասխանեց, թե դեռ շուտ է խոսել Հայաստանում արդարադատության վերականգնման մասին:

«Արդարադատության վերականգնումը մեկ օրվա կամ մեկ շաբաթվա գործ չէ: Այստեղ պետք է ողջ համակարգի, կադրերի փոփոխություն լինի: Շատ բարդ գործընթաց է և շատ ժամանակ է պահանջում: Ակնկալել և հույս ունենալ, որ այսօրվանից ամբողջ դատական համակարգը լիովին աշխատելու է, կարծում եմ, հեքիաթի հետևից ընկնել է, դեռ շատ հեռու ենք դրանից:

Բայց երկու շաբաթ առաջ մենք մտածում էինք, որ հայրիկը հաստատ դատվելու է և մի 10 տարի նստի: Հիմա այլևս այդպես չենք մտածում: Այդ միտքն արդեն ոչնչացել է: Հիմա պարզապես մտածում ենք, դե լավ մեկ ամսից է բաց թողնվելու, թե երկու»,- ասաց նա:
