Հայաստանի պետական ջազ-նվագախումբը փետրվարի 19-ին Հայաստանի ճարտարապետների միության դահլիճում հանդես կգա «Ռետրո ջազ» խորագրով համերգով։

Նվագախմբի գեղարվեստական ղեկավար և դիրիժոր Արմեն Հյուսնունցի ղեկավարությամբ սպասվում է երաժշտական ճանապարհորդություն դեպի 20-րդ դարի առաջին կես՝ մեծ ջազ-նվագախմբերի ոսկե ժամանակաշրջան: Կհնչեն Դյուկ Էլինգտոնի, Գլեն Միլլերի, Թոմի Դորսիի, Քաունթ Բեյսիի, Արտեմի Այվազյանի ստեղծագործությունները:

«Մեկ համերգի ծրագրում, իհարկե, շատ դժվար է տեղավորել ռետրո ջազի գոհարները, քանի որ դրանց ծավալը բավականին մեծ է, սակայն նվագախումբը փորձել է մեկտեղել ամենանշանավոր անունները։ Հատուկ անդրադարձ կա նաև Արտեմի Այվազյանի հիմնադրած հայաստանյան ջազ-նվագախմբին, որի շարունակողն է մեր նվագախումբը։ Մշակվել է հետաքրքիր ծրագիր, որը անդրադառնում է թե՛ համաշխարհային, թե՛ հայաստանյան ջազայինժառանգությանը»,- նշում է Արմեն Հյուսնունցը։
 
 Համերգների ընթացքում երաժշտության լեզվով հետադարձ հայացք կուղղվի անցյալին․ նորը, ժամանակակիցը հայտնաբերելու, հնի վերագնահատման շնորհիվ այն իմաստավորելու եզակի հնարավորություն է:

Նվագախումբը գրեթե մեկամյա համավարակային դադարից հետո այս համերգներով վերսկսում է թեմատիկ համերգների շարքն իր բազային՝ Հայաստանի ճարտարապետների միության շենքի դահլիճում։ Մինչ այդ նաև փորձել են հանդիսատեսի հետ կապը պահել առցանց ելույթների միջոցով՝ հանդես գալով փոքր կազմերով և պահպանելով հակահամաճարակային բոլոր կանոնները։ Այժմ ստեղծվել է մեծ կազմով հանդես գալու հնարավորություն, և քրտնաջան աշխատելով ու փորձեր իրականացնելով՝ կազմել են այս համերգի ծրագիրը։
