Թուրքիայում սկսել են պատժել այդ երկրի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի` վերջին շրջանում որդեգրած տարօրինակ վարքն ու զավեշտի հասնող հայտարարությունները ծաղրանքի ենթարկող անձանց:
Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը` Թուրքիայի համալսարաններից մեկի բժշկական ֆակուլտետի դեկան Հասան Հերքենը հեռացվել է աշխատանքից այն բանի համար, որ Twitter սոցիալական կայքի իր էջում ծաղրել է նախագահական պալատում արտասահմանյան երկրների ղեկավարներին ընդունելու ժամանակ պատվո պահակախմբում Էրդողանի կանգնեցրած և արդեն զավեշտի վերածված «տարբեր ժամանակշրջանների 16 թուրքական պետության» ռազմական հանդերձանքներ կրող զինվորներին:
Թուրք պրոֆեսորը Թուրքիայի նախագահի պաշտոնական նստավայր «Աք Սարայ»-ում Էրդողանին շրջապատած «Կարմիր Հորդա»-ի զինվորի վերաբերյալ Twitter-ում գրառել է. «Տեսնես այս խալաթով մարդը ո՞ր պետությունն է ներկայացնում»: Չնայած դեկանը շատ արագ ջնջել էր իր գրառումը, սակայն, այն հասցրել է սոցցանցերում վերածվել ընդարձակ քննարկման թեմայի, ինչի պատճառով էլ համալսարանի ղեկավարությունը վերջինիս «հրավիրել է» ազատել պաշտոնը: Դրանից հետո պաշտոնաթող արված թուրք պրոֆեսորը Twitter-ում գրել է. «Գիտական աշխատանքս գնահատելու փոխարեն անհեթեթության պատճառով հեռացրեցին աշխատանքից»:
Թուրքիայում և Արևմուտքում ծաղրի արժանացած Էրդողանի կողմից հյուրեր ընդունելու այդ զավեշտալի արարողակարգն առաջին անգամ կիրառվել է Պաղեստինի առաջնորդ Մահմուդ Աբասին, հետո` Ադրբեջանի առաջնորդ Իլհամ Ալիևին ընդունելու ժմանակ:
Կարճ ժամանակ անց այն բուռն քննարկում էր առաջացրել համացանցում: Սկզբում օգտատերերը կարծել էին, թե համացանցում զինվորների տարածված լուսանկարները ֆոտոշոփի արդյունք են: Ավելի ուշ, հավաստիանալով նկարների իսկությանը, դրանցից տարբեր ծաղրանկարներ էին պատրաստել: Օգտատերերից մեկն ընդգծել էր, որ Էրդողանն անհապաղ հոգեբույժի կարիք ունի: Ֆրանսիական AFP լրատվական գործակալությունն էլ այդ առնչությամբ գրել էր, որ Թուրքիայում Մահմուդ Աբասին դիմավորել են «Օսմանյան կրկեսում»:
Անցած տարի Էրդողանն աչքի է ընկել անհեթեթ հայտարարությունների շարքով, որոնք միջազգային մամուլում անմիջապես դարձել են ծաղրանքի առարկա: Մասնավորապես, Էրդողանը նոյեմբերին Լատինական Ամերիկայի մահմեդական կրոնական առաջնորդների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ հայտարարեց, թե Կոլումբոսից 314 տարի առաջ Ամերիկան հայտնագործել են մահմեդական ծովայինները:
Էրդողանի հաջորդ զավեշտը վերաբերում էր գենդերային հավասարությանը: Նոյեմբերի 24-ին Ստամբուլում ելույթ ունենալով կանանց իրավունքներին նվիրված միջազգային համաժողովում, նա հայտարարել էր. «Կանայք և տղամարդիկ չեն կարող հավասար իրավունքներ ունենալ, քանի որ նրանց մարմիններն ու բնույթները տարբեր են»: Այս հայտարարությանը հետևեց մեկ այլ ոչ պակաս ցնցող ելույթ, որում Էրդողանը հակաբեղմնաորիչների օգտագործումն անվանեց «պետական դավաճանություն»: Թուրքիայի նախագահի՝ 2014 թվականի ամենաանհեթեթ հայտարարությունների շքերթը ժամանակային առումով եզրափակում է դեկտեմբերին հայտնած նրա հետևյալ միտքը. «Ժամանակակից թուրքերենի բառապաշարով հնարավոր չէ գիտություն և փիլիսոփայություն ստեղծել»:
