Վերջին տարիներին հայ-վրացական հարաբերությունները շոշափելի զարգացում են ապրել, առաջ են ընթանում փոխշահավետ համագործակցության ոգով: Վրաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Միխեիլ Ջանելիձեի հետ համատեղ ասուլիսի ընթացքում այս մասին ասաց Հայաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը:

«Հայաստանն ու Վրաստանը պարբերաբար կրկնում են, որ երկու երկրների միջև խնդիրներ չկան, այլ կան հարցեր, որոնք համատեղ ջանքերով լուծվում են:  Կայացած բանակցությունների ընթացքում անդրադարձել ենք երկու երկրների ղեկավարների միջև ձեռք բերված պայմանավորվածությունների իրականացման ընթացքին:  

Տնտեսական համագործակցությունը առաջընթաց  է գրանցել, համատեղ միջկառավարական հանձնաժողովը արդյունավետ գործունեություն է ծավալում»,- ասաց նախարարը:

Նա նշեց, որ բանակցությունների ընթացքում քննարկվել են առևտրատնտեսական, էներգետիկ, տրանսպորտային ոլորտների զարգացմանը, զբոսաշրջության ոլորտներում համագործակցության ընդլայնմանն առնչվող հարցեր: Անդրադարձ է կատարվել երկու երկրների միջև առկա ընդգրկուն իրավապայմանագրային դաշտի կատարելագործմանը, ինչպես նաեւ վիրահայությանը հուզող խնդիրներին և դրանց լուծման համար իրականացվող քայլերին:

«Երկու երկրների փոխգործակցության կարևոր բաղադրիչն է տարածաշրջանում կայունության շուրջ շահագրգիռ երկխոսությունը: Վրացի գործընկերոջս տեղեկացրեցի ղարաբաղյան հիմնախնդրի կարգավորման գործընթացն առաջ մղելու նպատակով համապատասխան պայմանների ստեղծմանն ուղղված ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների և Հայաստանի համատեղ ջանքերի մասին:

Այս առումով մենք կարևորում ենք Վրաստանի շարունակական աջակցությունը Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների գործունեությանը»,- եզրափակեց Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը:
