Մամուլը համառորեն քաղաքական սերդափոխության հիմքում փորձում է դնել տարիքային բաղադրիչը. այսինքն եթե մարդը երիտասարդ է և նշանակվում է որևէ առանցքային պաշտոնի, արդեն կարելի է խոսել քաղաքական սերնդափոխությանն ուղղված առարկայական քայլի մասին: Իսկ եթե համեմատաբար ավելի տարիքով մեկն է կոնկրետ կարգավիճակ ստանում, հետևաբար գործ ունենք լճացման կամ ստատուս-քվոյի պահպանման երևույթի հետ: Ինչ խոսք, տարիքային գործոնը որոշակի դեր այդ գործընթացում ունի, բայց այն, բնավ չպետք է ուռճացնել: Իմ խորին համոզմամբ քաղաքական սերդափոխությունը դա նախևառաջ նոր մտածողությամբ և տեսլականով, կառավարման ինովացիոն գիտելիքներով և հմտություններով, ինչպես նաև երկրի առջև ծառացած խնդիրների լուծման առումով արդյունավետ մեթոդների տիրապետող մարդկանց պատվիրակումն է պետական կառավարման համակարգ և քաղաքական, ներկայացուցչական մարմիններ: Այս ամենից մեկ կարևոր հետևություն նույնպես պետք է անել. երբ որ խոսվում է այն մասին, որ շատ էական է փորձառությունը, կարիերայի աստիճաններով հատ-հատ բարձրանալը, պետք է նաև չանտեսել՝
- աշխարհը սրընթաց փոխվում է, և առաջին պլան են մղվում նոր պահանջները՝ որոշումների կայացման և դրանց իրացման գործընթացն հաճախ դուրս է գալիս ավանդական արժեհամակարգերի սահմաններից.
- պետք է կոտրել կարծրատիպերը և բարեփոխումները դարձնել առավել թիրախավորված ու նպատակային. միայն այս կերպ է հնարավոր շոշափելի բեկում ապահովել: Հենց այս պահանջներն են նաև քաղաքական սերդափոխության հիմքում: Իսկ այս առումով մեկնաբանություններն շատ դեպքերում ուղղակի վերածվում են սուբյեկտիվ նկրտումների, որոնք ավելի շատ աղավաղում են խնդրի բուն էությունը:
